seminoles?
Seminoles, Gators...semantics...is there really a difference? Both of 'em suck...maybe if all of Florida could combine their teams and go against OSU...maybe, just maybe...they could keep it within two touchdowns!

You're an idiot. Don't post a college football thread if you have no knowledge of who is even playing in the National Championship.
Florida State = Seminoles
Florida = Gators

Oh give it a rest, it was an honest mistake. Do you realize this has been pointed out before? Go get a life. OSU is still a level above the Gators... and several above the Seminoles.

Michigan losing is good. It gives florida a spot in the top 3 FLA.
I expect a close game in the NC. OSU probably will win but I'm pulling for florida

Do you speak for him? It is an impossible "mistake" to make. He actually thought that UF was the Seminoles, which makes his knowledge of college football obsolete...which in turn makes his opinion of the skill of college football teams obsolete. I am sorry, but I just find unintelligent posters to be extremely obnoxious so I reprimand them for their retarded posts.

Unintelligent? It's fine if he doesn't give a shit about which Florida team is which, as long as he knows that Florida is the good one, then the names don't matter. Of course, that was a stupid mistake, but you don't need to go to the trouble of pointing it out after someone already has.

There is zero chance that Notre _ame (i.e. no "D") beats LSU in the Tigers' own backyard.

Gizzle! UCLA plays in the Rose Bowl, not USC (which plays in the Coliseum). And New Orleans is not Baton Rouge (and the Superdome is DEFINITELY not Deaf Valley). I remember when I was a student I went to see LSU play Nebraska in the Sugar Bowl (oh, the pain!) and I remember being blown away by the number of Nebraska fans there - definitely did not remind me of a "home" Tiger game. And in the French Quarter, you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a damnable Husker fan.

you havent been to a football game until you visit stadiums like beaver stadium (109,000) capacity or the big house (112,000) capacity. Tennessee has a nice size too. the noise level is intense. ask ohio state about their last visit to beaver stadium. the student body section won that game for PSU.
but yes, some teams have a benefit from playing bowl games. miami in the orange bowl is a classic example. the only way you can over come that, is to be a national power house team that brings a crowd on road trips.
