Georgia 31 VT 24
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!
Now that was a game! Best comeback season since 1973. Now I'd like to think that we did it on our own but I have to thank VT for giving us the ball so many times in the second half.
Now if the BCS will just see their way into giving us a top 25 ranking I'll be happy.

Don't blame me if you don't know which teams to root for.
But just a heck of a comeback. Richt must have given one hell of a half-time speech.
Though I must say fate was against VT from the beginning. Let's look at the history for those who don't know.
VT has never won back-to-back bowl games, held true.
VT coach before the game had a 6-7 bowl record, Richt had a 3-2.
The last time Georgia had a True Freshman QB start a game in a bowl. Chick-fil-a Peach bowl 1998. Georgia 35- Maryland 33.
The last time Georgia lost to Vandy and Kentucky in the same year.
1973-
beat Auburn
beat GT
Peach bowl vs. Virginia (note similarity in names.) Georgia come back victory to win 22-21.
2006-
beat Auburn
beat GT
Chick-fil-a bowl vs. VT.
And no offense Wicky but Georgia was the one with the dominant defense in that game.
SFH, it just shows how dominant the SEC is over you ACC wannabeeeees.
Yes, doc, indeed another one in the long-line of SEC victories.

VT only played one half. got cocky at halftime and stopped playing, happens with a young team... plus had like 3 players injured in the first half. We didn't expect to even get to a bowl this year with this team, but we managed to keep the streak of consecutive bowls alive (one of the longest in the nation). GA basically had a home game, how is that fair? Granted, they were ready to play and stayed focused, so kudos to them for getting the Chic-Fil-A biscuit cup (God I miss those!! lol). Watch out next year, when our starting lineup returns 17 players. We just need a better QB.

Sorry my bad. My friend gave me bad information about the actual statistics.
And, wicky, I don't really care how we win or why we win. A win is just a win. Though in my opinion, VT stayed focused, your QB didn't.
I've seen better games played by both teams but I think it was like the announcers said. they were just a little rusty from the long break.
