I consider the map to be one of the settings, yes, so the champion gets to pick. I'll PM you, and add you to the list for now.

Yep. The only limiting rule is that you can't play the same exact settings twice on the same map; so there's absolutely nothing wrong with changing the map repeatedly.

In other news, I've decided to go with the simplest, cleanest way to end this thing:
  • After 70 games, the arcade closes and everyone leaves. Anybody left in line unfortunately doesn't get to play. The player leading the scoreboard with the longest victory streak is declared the ultimate victor!

Also, as per White Moose's question, I've clarified in the rules that the champion chooses the map. I've also numbered the rules list, for quick reference.

You'll be waiting a little longer than that, I'm afraid. We can't start round 1 until we have a full 16, and from there it's one game at a time. Glad to have you anyway, though!

The initializing game is underway! Good luck to the competitors. The winner of this game will be the first champion (and, incidentally, will be the only person with a shot at scoring the very highest possible, if they choose and win 70 eight-player games ;) ).

Why don’t you try to organize the same thing but FREESTYLE like you wanted in the first place!!!
I think it would be equally accepted, maybe even more because waiting would be much shorter
and more games would be played!!! 8-) :) :idea:

At this rate someone in the line N16 will play "maybe" in February!!! :(

Hmm? I don't understand what you mean. The rules are pretty much how I first wanted it... I just didn't expect the line to be so long.
