Yes, my dirty little secret is out. In case you noticed I also stick up for Johnny and Grim, so them too. Especially Grim... with his fondness for backdoors and all.
Observative is a really annoying "word"
I kinda get what you're saying... but most of the time I think the flashback elaborates on the joke and makes it funnier... like:
"he wasn't always evil"
Cue flashback of monkey in suit coming home to his wife? in bed with another monkey.
