FW has sunk to perhaps its lowest ever ebb, and quite frankly something needs to be done about it. As such, this Halloween The Tavernside Fire Clan is aiming to host the greatest flame-battling tournament that CC has ever seen, and my fellow forum-goers, We want you to be a part of it.

The aim of the game is to to dazzle and impress with cutting prose and blazing wit, and to go head-to-head against the CC Forum’s finest (from all forums, not juts FW) . Quality is the name of the game and dull spam and cursing will be frowned upon by judges.

BTW, I'll be in. I'll try my hand at this "insulting" stuff. Can I clarify the rules briefly, though? For it to be considered "flaming," do you always have to attack ad-hominim, or can you try to dismantle their argument elsewhere as well?

A humble offering if you will. While diversifying the gene pool it gives fatties and ugly fatties a reason to roam the globe. They'll have a bright new life to guide into the world and will have somebody to listen too their woes and stories of when they weren't as rotund. A win win. Also, not nearly as boring if you ask me.

Allow me to clarify: Pairings are all going to be randomised. FW-Regulars will be teamed up with GD/OT-Regulars, etc etc.

It's not just FW v CC-Others. That'd be dull-City. It's all about getting people who aren't FW frequenters to come get involved in the action (and hopefully make the place more interesting along the way).

Both seem to have the same purpose, which is to make FW more interesting.
I've seldom ventured into FW, because (at least since I've been here) it hasn't been very interesting - mainly anaotomical comparisons and threatened insertions. Making it more interesting has to be a good thing, although I can live without it.

No, some flaming is actually quite fun. I had a great time flaming Hendy for being a dumbass about a clan challenge, back in the day. But "forced" flaming really is boring.
