I think a nice grey border round Britian should be enought to make people happy. As long as it is duller than the black terr borders you have for normal terrs no one will get confused.

if each mountain or river is an impassable, then each bridge or sea route must be a connection. in the legend, can u change connect to connection?

I'll do it

GROND 2cd. wrote:Please excuse the late reply. I already checked the map and wanted to control some details - and than I forgot about it. Now I found your pm again and wanted to give you the feedback no matter whether you still need it. I like the graphics and I think most American consider it as a cool map because of the German language. I found 1 mistake: It's Braunschweig (the 'n' is missing) everything else looks correct to me, including capital letters. How it is to play it's difficult to say. But there is 1 thing what maybe should be changed (but maybe it was your intention). It seems to be very easy to get the bonus for the blue or red canons, it seems to be very hard to do the same with pink or orange. I fear to win on this map is to much depending on your starting countries with this handicap. I hope, this feedback could help you a bit.

I must say that your opinion about gameplay can only be verificated in the beta test phase, maybe at that point I would change something.
I'll add the "n" at Braunschweig.

Would it be possible to put an example of the connections/impassables in that bit of legend?

u mean showing the impassables and connections just like [player]pepperonibread[/player]'s soviet union map? i like that idea. they'll have to be very small bridges and ships though.

On the outer powers continents you have Sudeuropa, Osteuropa, and Westeuropa. I feel like it's a case of "which of these doesn't belong." Am I wrong in this?

Also, could you change guns to cannons? Technically artillery pieces are guns (hence the name 21-gun salute), but everyone who's ever played *thatgamemadebyHasbro* looks at those pictures and thinks "cannon".

It's always a special time in the game when someone gets the first cannon down.

I think tackitx means...

Ost = East
Oeust = West

Doesn't it?

Or am I getting the wrong language?

Completely wrong, everything on this map is in German except the title in Latin and the legends in English.
All German names were checked by a native German speaker, so:
    East is Ost
    West is West also in German (Ouest is in French)

Righto - that's the answer that Tacktix is needing too. (I couldn't remember West in german - although I am surprised that they have a word with a W in? - I thought it was a letter that doesn't occur very often in German?)

:shock: Just to remember Angles and Saxons were German tribes who invaded Great Britain so technically English is partially a Germanic language and W in German is as current as in English even more I would say. ;)

I'll do it now, but it can take some times as I'm overloaded with work right now. You will need a week of patience :)

Ok Pamoa, one small request. Could you please swap around Kurnten with its army number, so that there is no chance of them overlapping ingame?
