Can you believe that it's been 2 months since this issue was resolved...

I still look forward to the day that we have more than just one Classic Map to choose from.

It's quite a sad day... The Classic Map we argued so violently over... Is no more...

we'll get a better one, no worries!
it's not the same situation this time, last time we had the choice of keeping what we perceived to be the original. The last change pitted CC against itself; rightly or wrongly it appeared that the imposition came from within and without universal consultation. (let's not get into that one again....)

This time we can all have a steak in making a better map and it is imposed from outside! No Choice! we just have to do it and band together against the evil oppressor!; )

(Hasbro were behind 911 too you know.. they needed a war as subtle advertising!)

The problem this time is that people seem to think we are allowed to make the new version almost just like the last one. This is completely wrong. The new one will likely have to be completely differnt as in differnt layout/gameplay or it will be just as illegal as the last one.

I'm sure there is a better planet earth map with lesser than 50 territories to be developed soon.

It is with sadness that we have to wave goodbye to the old Classic map :-(

Could I please point people in this direction to discuss its demise  viewtopic.php?f=57&t=66636

If you wanted to talk about the exciting prospect of a New Classic competition, then feel free to go over here instead  viewtopic.php?f=127&t=66883
