Well, I just told all of the Norwegians that there is a spaceship coming named Melissa. Expect them to start panicking soon.

And for the record, I've PMed Apey 3 times now. If she doesn't sign on and cover her tracks, there's nothing else I can do...

Try to change you? Whatever gave you that idea?
Besides, I'm sure apey'll sort you out.

He got that idea because you have a huge crush on him. And although he is wary of your feminine wiles, cannot deny the budding attraction.

Stick to learning Norwegian dave, matchmaking is definitely not your strong point.

This has nothing to do with matchmaking, it has to do with my slick spy skillz.

See, I snuck over to the sandbox where all the girls hangout during recess, whilst the rest of the boys were pretending to play kickball (but really watching me).

First, I used my high tech periscope to ensure I could get close to you all in a clandestine manner.

[bigimg]http://home.ca.inter.net/~hagelin/SpyTechCrackerJackPeriscope.jpg[/bigimg]

(HAHA! I bet you really thought that was a box of Cracker Jack! I fooled you!)

Then I set up my super secret long range microphone:

[bigimg]http://home.ca.inter.net/~hagelin/SpyTechLongRangeMicrophone.jpg[/bigimg]

Of course none of you girls noticed me, because I was cleverly disguised in a black duster and black fedora.

Then I wrote down the important details of the meeting of the nefarious girls, as well as making notes to be sure we could all distinguish their voices in my top secret electronic security alarm case (with dual function pen).

Finally, I hid the results of my reconnaissance in my super secret message finder set:

Dancing Mustard only had to walk around aimlessly blowing the whistle for a few hours until he found the message, and in doing so, DISCOVERED THE TRUTH!

final analysis - CC armies by colour

Post by heavycola »

Relative weightings of CC army colours

After extensive statistical analysis of tens of thousand of games on the (working) CC servers, my team and I have come to some startling conclusions that we feel should be of use, both to the site’s programmers and to those wishing to give themselves an ‘edge’ in their pursuit of points-related self-esteem.
More darkly, however, we believe our results point to a level of institutional racism within Conquer Club. Copies of this post have been emailed to Jesse Jackson, Xtratabasco and Barack Hussein ‘Obama’ Osama.

RESULTS
The following graph shows the quantum probability expectation values for red vs blue in a standard 3vs2 dice-manipulation-event. The results clearly point to a Republican Party bias coupled with a (population-weighted) fear of a black planet:

Image

Moving on, we analysed the fortunes of black armies in the CC game world. It is notable that despite black’s longstanding inclusion in the standard edition of a strikingly-similar-although-non-affiliated real-life board game, black soldiers were not afforded the same participatory rights in CC until the introduction of 8-player games, when they became an instant handicap to their fellow team members.
The following Grace Jones Optical Alignment Schematic (GJOAS) shows this clearly. An equal weighting for black armies when measured against all other colours would result in Ms Jones’ eyes focusing perfectly together. As can be seen, her right eye points off to the right slightly - again revealing a disturbing political bias:

Image

My credentials? I hold a D in GCSE media studies, a PhD in acquired life skills and creationist theology from the Southern Baptist Degrees-R-Us Online University, a 400m swimming proficiency badge, and third runner-up trophy in the Cherbourg Eurocamp under-15s talent contest (summer 1988).

Edit out all the English, then only Apey is doing anything wrong. One stone, two birds, three braincells. It's how we roll out here in DC.

Despite being an excellent idea, that's actually really mean.

As quality as that post was, this still isn't off topics, and despite what you may think, that's not exactly relevant to CC ;)

There is more than enough excitement to be had from eating a digestive biscuit and following it up with a chocolate finger I can tell you!

Every once in a while I can be tempted into a strawberry tart after a CC speed game, but only if I am out of chocolate fingers.

Well said, sir - and if that not enough excitement for one day, translate a page or two of the Book of Mormon into morse code.

Rubbish and nonsense. The ONLY biscuit to 'warm down' with is a Hobnob. Do not accept any other players, they are but poor substitutes for the true Prince of the bicci world.

plain or chocolate?

got to be Chocolate.

Food in England sounds so much cooler than food in the U.S. of A. What exactly is a hobnob, and where can I get one?

happy canadian turkey day

Post by owenshooter »

happy turkey day to all our canadian friends!!! i suppose there shall be a ton of missed turns due to
tryptophan overdoses all over the northern reaches of north america... anyway, here is a bit of knowledge for all of our canadian brethren to use when they are searching for an excuse to explain their missed turns today on canadian turkey day:

Turkey does have the makings of a natural sedative in it, an amino acid called tryptophan. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, meaning that the body can't manufacture it. The body has to get tryptophan and other essential amino acids from food. Tryptophan helps the body produce the B-vitamin niacin, which, in turn, helps the body produce serotonin, a remarkable chemical that acts as a calming agent in the brain and plays a key role in sleep. So if you eat a lot of turkey, your body will produce more serotonin and you will feel calm and want a nap, thus missing your turns on Conquer Club.

It's a "biscuit" (US types, read "cookie"), and a very fine one, There are several online English shops you can order them from, eg the Englihs Tea Shop, where I also order Branston Pickle and the kids' Prawn Cocktail crisps.(US types read "chutney" and "potato chips")
