There is something curiously awesome about that globular turquoise effigy of geekdom.

This sounds suspiciously like the entire history of mathematics.

Oh, and my favourite are the real ones. Plastic reds with white pips and the hard edges. All three, for stacking (corners in pips) and crackling (the shake before the roll).

Well said, sir - and if that not enough excitement for one day, translate a page or two of the Book of Mormon into morse code.

Rubbish and nonsense. The ONLY biscuit to 'warm down' with is a Hobnob. Do not accept any other players, they are but poor substitutes for the true Prince of the bicci world.

Dancing Mustard wrote:So you've just finished a marathon speed-game, your adrenalin is pumping, and you won't be able to sleep for hours. It's a familiar feeling and most speed-gamers have dealt with it at least once before (especially after hardcore world 2.1 epics).

But how to beat that rush? Sure it feels great for a couple of minutes, but sooner or later you need to go back to being a civilised human being again? So my question is: What do people do to help them chill out and calm down after particularly intense CC games?

Music, activities, mental techniques, anything... share your thoughts and we can beat adrenalin pump together.

I have always found gassing and dismembering prostitutes to be a very relaxing post-game exercise, particularly after being demoted. Whoever beat me last in New World has an awful lot of blood on their hands. It has quite ruined my upholstery.

Ah Fruitcake, many an otherwise knowledgable man has made the error of preferring the hobnob over the chocolate finger. Don't be one of those men! After a speed game, nothing, I repeat nothing can bring a man more stimulation than a chocolate finger at the right time and in the right place.

Personally, I think we should all just have used 'Erober Klubben' as our personal hangout while this problem persisted. That place looks like it could do with the company.

Great Idea. I'll lead the charge.

Ya... I once got in trouble for posting in there because a mod thought I couldn't actually speak Norwegian... I can't and was just using an online translator, but that's not the point!

Problem mostly solved. But of course Apey had to respond to one of the threads I made, so I can't remove it. I guess I just have to hope the mods think that my popping into their forum to say hello isn't ban worthy.

Also, that sounds completely fucking batshit loonball. What mod would be that much a jerk? What if you're just trying to LEARN Norwegian?

I'm familiar with a couple of other languages, but am not fluent. Does that preclude me from participating in their fora?

Well, if you can pass off that you have an idea of what you're saying, you might be okay...

Also, how come some retards (who that can barely speak their own language) whose posts are almost completely illegible contortions of English are allowed to post their garbled spam all over the English boards without reprimand? Where's the fairness in that I ask? If I can't post crap Norwegian all over Erober Klubben, then why can the Androidz of this world come and drool mangled babelfish all over FW?

Also, couldn't you just go find a couple of Norwegian phrases, then use them to disguise your original post as bona fide Netherlands talk?

Edit out all the English, then only Apey is doing anything wrong. One stone, two birds, three braincells. It's how we roll out here in DC.

There should be a latin forum. then i could show off my mastery of an ancient dead language that has little if any practical value in everyday life.

Despite being an excellent idea, that's actually really mean.
