DSL vs. CC Championship 2008 [Winner: Endar1077

Ok, this is the 3rd batch of games pool play will end after 8 games so there is still a 4th batch to go out after this set.

After everyone has played 8 games I will take the top 2 of each pool into a bracket ties will be sorted out by head to head, and if needed a tiebreaker game.


Once round robin play has been completed there will be a 16 man bracket 8 CC on one side, 8 DSL on the other. Each round of bracket play will be best 3-5 (until the finals which will be 4 of 7). Your pool map will be your "home map" for bracket play, and the other person's map will be your "away" map so if you happen to meet someone from your pool in bracket play it will be the same map twice. The final game will be a "neutral map" aka (classic).



Settings: All games will be sequential, no cards, chained forts, no fog


DSL- "Dark and Shattered Lands" (http://www.dsl-mud.org) is a text based game. I'm not gonna make this a commercial or anything this is more for DSLers who play on CC rather than trying to drum up new members but anyone is welcome to check it out send me a PM if you have any questions.

Australia - In by far the closest bracket which had a 3 way tie for second...

*Clemsonfan_91 and Bermanap both finished at 4-4, but Endar1077 had a 3-1 record in head to head compared to Bermanaps 2-2, and Clemson's 1-3.

USA

Canada
Sarit (8-0) is the winner
Rumondo (6-2) is the runner up

Europe
AutomaTom (5-2) and DeadlyVoid (5-2) will advance their final game will decide the seeds.

Africa
Phrunk (6-2) is the winner
2nd will be decided between Darlen, Lavinah and Jking as their last games wrap up.

I will post the brackets after the holiday weekend and once all the games have been completed. PLEASE notify me if you believe your record is incorrect, I have doubled checked myself but that isn't enough to say I couldn't have made an error.

Prizes:
For those who play DSL there will be in game prizes (eggs) for the top 3 finisher.
CC- I'll do a 3 month premium membership to the overall winner, if that is matched by CC (which I think it is) I'll do 2 month for 2nd and 1 month for 3rd. (assuming I can buy a membership prize in 3 months increments)

Firstly, you have to buy 1 year, you can't buy in membership in 3 month increments. Although they do match premium, the least you may give is in 3 months, as said from the tourney handbook.

Matched premium may be parceled out in portions from as small as 3 months to as much as you have in your bank. You may not give your portions of premium any smaller than 3 months. No exceptions.
