i opened up all my game slots, and im anxiously awaiting these matches :) Of course, I know how hard it is...considering he has 60 games to start, 40 pms to send, and probably some linking/tracking to do at the same time.

ALL GAMES have been made and all players have been sent pm's with links to their games and passwords. You have 3 days from now to begin all your games or you will be eliminated from the tournament.

Best of luck to all.

I will update the standings several times each day.

Grats to the winners so far. My games are underway, just trying to find a time that me and my opponent are both online so we can run some fast turns. Good Luck to everyone still playing.

7 games are finished so far.

Gratz to the winners so far, and I'd like to say thanks to Forbert (my opponent in R1) for 3 great games in which i managed to steal a very close 2-1 victory from with a little bit of lucky dice.

3 players only have yet to join their games and begin playing:
[player]Baldeagle76[/player]
[player]Cpurcell[/player]
[player]ImperialPower[/player]

Get yer skates on guys / gals or you will be eliminated.

As we currently have no reserves it looks like the opponents of the above games may get a bye to R2, however if reserves do sign up before the 3 day limit then they will replace the above players in order that the games were randomly assigned in.

only 5 more matches to be concluded now!

All matches have begun and are in progress and I think round 2 should be starting within the next day or two although a couple of the games being played now are very tight and are being contested fiercely.

I've just checked the games and it seems that Bald Eagle is almost certainly through. The other match seems to be heading for 1 each with the decider being the Iberian game - which I can't see cause its foggy.

Looks like shoop76 is gonna be the winner on the last matchup, looking as imperialpower has just missed TWO turns. Not a guarantee, but an educated guess.
