Out of curiosity, what did you change in the update besides the period in the legend?
Reputation cleared. :) Never let it be said that Team CC don't investigate fairly.
Although they take bloody forever to do it...

Things you suggested that i said i would do, its hard to update things and edit it without the PSD.

Well, you didn't take out the underline of the mountains... nor did you separate the impassable terrain from the words on the legend... and you still have an odd naming system... so really, the only thing I see changed is the period. :?

Would it be very hard to recreate the psd, since you know exactly what to do to get this image back? Cos, I mean, you will need one; you can't expect to say "sorry, no psd" and have that be a reason to not change things.

Sometimes doing a new PSD gives your map a fresh look, may be something worth considering?
What do you know about map making, bitch?

There is one computer that it may be on, since it was on my pen drive as well, and it may be on there.

Fingers crossed, i dont really want to re-build the PSD.

And Mj, the terr names, if you have better names my ears are open.

OK,here is a list of some of my nit-picks:

The border around the 'Bonus Key' island looks a bit pixelly.
Beware the blurry bits of bobbly border between Boeny and Betsiboka. (check out my alliteration )
The old black border is still visible beneath the mountains on the Analanjirofo and Sava border
The knots on the hanging lened still don't quite look right
There are some bobbles on the Menabe/Bongolave border, and where the two areas meet Betafo
I'm still unconvinced by the bevel effect, and that the borders don't quite meet the sea... The region borders do, but the territory border don't, it just seems inconsistent.
It would be nice to have the bonus values next to the region names; the list of names otherwise almost seems redundant

There are some more things I could mention, but I'll leave it there for now

T-o-m how you feel now, maybe like me? Do you feel weird?Do you think that everything is ok?
Welcome to nitpicking twiling zone.

Well these map have quit simple graphic, and i dont see any problems, ofcourse i dont want to use microscope to find something. Well its not nice that in final you want to find some problems who is very dificulty to see.

Welcome to nitpicking twiling zone.

I feel that things are ok, but that's why we have a community, for people to point out things that other people missed :)

I think this map has very simple graphics, and that is why i like it.
I dont personally see the need for the bottom line of the mountains to be removed because of the style of the map however i can take in to consideration that once this is quenched, like all maps, it's not really the map maker's map anymore, but the community's.
So in a way qwert, i 'know how you feel' on a low level, but its all down to opinion.
The difference between our feelings towards feedback is all down to an open/closed mind, and willingness to make things good for other people.

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tom has been permabanned.....
So, what happens to this map now? Does anyone know?

EDIT: if tom is willing to help out a bit, I could continue this thread, just copy/pasting whatever he wants his response to be and quoting it into this thread.

I think that's exactly what has to happen. Just because tom can't post that doesn't stop him from making changes to the map - somebody will just have to take over the duties of running the thread.

              Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Madagascar Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

i duno how the map medal system is, but in the tournament forums, the work is split between TD's, so someone may get a medal for one tournament because it was under Steelhorse, but someone else may not have gotten theres yet because Night Strike hasnt gotten around to his yet... but alot more tournaments are finished every update then maps so i duno how the system is here
