OK..I gotta ask again - please dont hesitate to tell me if I am being obtuse / thick / dense / stoooooooopid.

I have the map open in another window so am looking at it - Brunei is the Orange country diectly west of the brownish Central Indonesia, yes? It has a line from its northeast corner up to the Phillipines which works. It has a line from the west-southwest corner to Sumatra which DOESNT work. There is NO line or physically connected border between Sumatra and Java to the southeast but that connection DOES work...

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree, that area looks very confusing. It looks like an obvious connection, but for some reason that connection does not exist. It really should be cleared up somehow

Hey there KoolBak - hope you are doing well:

I've studied this map for a bit today and I think I have the answer. If you look closely, there is a light grey border running along the northern edge of the largish island that you think is Brunei. It would seem that Central Indonesia is actually BOTH the mostly dark gray blob to the right of the circle with the army number AND almost all of the orange island to the left of the circle with the army number. ONLY the very northern edge of that orange island is Brunei. Therefore, the dark grey line which appears to connect Sumatra to Brunei ACTUALLY connects Sumatra with Central Indonesia.

Clear as mud yet? PM me if you don't see it and maybe we can get in the chat and I can make more sense than I do in prose.

When I use the tester, it cuts off the right edge of this particular map. Does anyone else have that problem?

Yea, i get the same thing. i looked at trying to fix it but i can't.
but i don't think anything thats cut off is too confusing, so yea
oh and bout the comment i made about posting every little quirk, must have been in a bad mood that day. i realize it is essential, but do read the thread first.

Horizon is correct and the fine rose of Texas is right it's not very clear.

Hopefully this will make my intent clear though it should be changed given the amount of confusion it has caused. I'll put it on the 2.1 todo list.

One thing that should be changed as you clean that area up: The line connecting Sumatra to Java was never changed to the darker gray like the rest of the cross-sea connections.

yes, the brunei, central indonesia, sumatra area does not work properly for attacking.
I attacked from central Indo to sumatra because it would not allow brunei to sumatra....It worked from central indo to sumatra, lol, but would not allow the advance of armies. I wanted to finish my goal of far east bonus.

Not sure if you have looked into this.

thankyou,

I like the map except i just noticed that there's a bug. You can't attack Sumatra from Brunei for some reason.

I'm just kidding s.xkitten, just wanted to see if you would blow a fuse ;). Great map. It's one i want to play now. I think i got like 9 simultaneous games on it.

You do. The 9 total is not in addition to the 2 you get for Australia or the 4 for the East Indies. And since you are already holding each of them by holding the whole continent, the log will add those points and say 3 for holding Oceania....which gives you 9 total for holding Oceania
