3. If everyone gave up making maps as quickly as you have, we'd have no maps.

Maybe choose something different to make. Check the *free to a good home* thread.
You may not suck at map making. I think you chose quite a hard thing to make a map of.
Its very hard to make a map if u suck at it, and if it does get on the site it will be one of the horrendously ugly ones, trust me, I've spent alot of time trying.

The map we are talking about ( the moon one )

Post by Edward »

Ok, Ka-Zethica your map isn't as smooth or as high def as the other maps on the site yet I think the concept is cool, and I can imagine making a map is very hard, so I applaud your effort. I hope that one day a moon map gets finished altho I think that it will take a lot of work, and if you can't handle it then it's ok (you brought the idea foreward so points to you). Maybe someone with all those map making programs and fancy video cards can try a hand at it. The maps youve made show effort yet fall a bit short, but I hope we haven't seen the last of a Moon Map.

I know it would be hard to complete a map if you suck at it. Im just saying that he might not suck. He is using a crap program & chose something hard to make a map of.

Don't be disheartened, it's a long-slow and frustrating process map making. My Australia map has been in develpment for six weeks and I thought it was good enough after two days of being in the foundry.

Yes, it's frustrating now, but your map will be better off for it in the long run.
