Alright this is going to be my attempt at a map with graphics! So last night i looked up a map i may have wanted to attempt, and Sri Lanka is it! Here is my first draft

I don't know, the geography isn't exactly great for a map...

Learn your geography, or at least spend some of the money you use buying premium because of busts toward a better school. It is just off the coast of India

it appears as if you've got the provinces but maybe the map you've based it on is a different time period than the one on wikipedia

maybe you can split up some of those 25 (by East or West or North and South) and get up to 33 territories.



On a map making point, it's not good to have a mini-map that's basically 1/3 the size of your actual map.

The continent borders are actual regions based on all maps i searched on, the territory borders are more or less city location

ed - ehh, i searched and couldnt find that map :S I had to guess on regions based on cities similar to how they did, but not quite the same since the only map i found was the actual city locations

with some impassables this could be playable... as is everything borders everything, and it'll be a free-for-all. Notice that every territory except for a couple up top is a border territory - impossible to hold a bonus.

similar to iceland, the center of this island is essencially a giant mountain range, so some impassibles could be easilly done, ill try some of this and get back to you

ill also reduce the mini-size and throw some names on for next update

Add some impassables, update the graphics a bit, and you've got yourself a map.

Are you using paint? Or did you just save as a low res gif? As for a general shape, it's okay. kind of a blob.

Damn Nate you beat me to it. I saw the Sri Lanka map on wiki about a week ago and thought it would make for a great map.

As for the provinces, the map you have would make it very hard to hold any continent. The one on wiki (that edbeard posted) has far fewer provinces making continent bonus achievable. It's your baby, so run with it how you will, but I think the to and fro gameplay would be better with less territories.

Again, great choice of location, it's about time this one was done

I think it would be better if you made it bigger, and rotated it a little so you can make it bigger without going over the size limitations.

This map has been moved into retirement.

It would appear that development of this map has stalled, as there have not been any updates for some time.

If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the CAs will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system
