Have a Non Alliance Game Type

Post by tals »

I don't like alliance games - they wind me up no end when they occur. Looking at peoples feedback they are also a big contributor to negative feedback. Some people like alliances - good for them :)

So can we have an option that then makes it clear that the game is non alliance. If I want my alliance I play a team game - far more fun :)

Agreed, if you want to align with someone then join a doubles or triples game, and keep that crap out of the regular games!!!!

Perhaps you should discuss such things in game chat, or post a few Callouts that you are looking for some private games where there are no alliances.

Its a bit late when the game has started to be saying you don't want an alliance game and at that point you have no way of bailing out. Perhaps if games could have descriptions then this would be a way around it. Never found the call out section that useful myself.

Be interested how the poll goes - as I say, you must see a lot more feedback than I do and I see a lot of negative (aka bad feeling) feedback due to alliances being formed in game.

Cant you create a proper poll? I misvoted, because in the title you are suggesting a new game type, that is completely not needed, but the poll is about other question...

Interesting....other polls have shown approx a third or less of us hate alliances...the majority either expect them, sometimes or frequently use them...

You should join xigames...our group does not tolerate alliances or cheating of any kind and there are 40 or so on this site you can play with....

you can't op to not have alliances in games unless alliances were official in the first place. And General alliances are stupid unless its a last stand against someone who is probably going to win unless the others combine for a bit. Now treaties, single territory ones are another story

Descriptions have been discussed before, and I believe they were shot down to you can write anything...lots of miss use.

I seriously suggest using callouts to meet people with similar mindsets, or look for perhaps a clan. :)
