All for One and One for it All (10/40)

Post by killukbrisk »

Hi There and welcome to the 'All for One and One for it All' tournemant.

The premise of this tournament it to work together in teams to become the ultimate team, and then fight it out amongst yourselves to see who will reign supreme!

There will be four teams of 10 players, and each team will elect a Captain via a democratic vote. The Captain will be responsible for assigning team members to games and will remain the same throughout the tournament.

ROUND ONE

In this round there will be five games of 8 players (two from each team). The Captain from each team will allocate which two players play in which game. Each player can only take part in one game per round.

There will be five maps used in this round: -

Age of Merchants
Classic
Siege
US Seneate
WWII Iow Jima

The settings for the five games will be: -

Doubles
Sequential
No Cards
Chained
Fog on

At the end of the game, players will be awarded points for their team as follows: -

Winning Team with no team players eliminated before the end – 10 points
Winning Team with one team player eliminated before the end – 6 points
Runner up – 4 points
Third place – 2 points
Last place – 0 points

At the end of the first round, the team with the least points will be eliminated

ROUND TWO

In this round there are going to be five games of six player using one of the following maps for each game: -

Extreme Global Warming
Europe
CCU
Alexanders Empire
8 Thoughts

The games in this round will be played with the following settings: -

Doubles
Sequential
No Cards
Chained
Fog off

Again, the captains from each team will allocate two players to each game, this time to play as a doubles team.

Scoring for this round goes as follows: -

Winning Team with no team players eliminated before the end – 10 points
Winning Team with one team player eliminated before the end – 6 points
Runner up – 3 points
Last place – 0 points

As with the first round, the team with the least points at the end of this round will be eliminated (PLEASE NOTE - POINTS FROM PREVIOUS ROUND ARE NOT CARRIED FORWARD)

ROUND THREE

This round will consist of ten games of 2 players with the Captian from each team assigning one player to each game.

The following maps will be used in this round: -

Age of Realms 1
Artic
Australia
British Isles
Disc World
Malta
Portugal
Scotland
USA
WWII Western Front

With the following settings: -

Standards
Sequential
No Cards
Chained
Fog on

In this round a win awards one team point and as with before, the team with the least points at the end of the round is eliminated and we have out Ultimate Team, now we need to find out who will reign Supreme...

SEMI-FINAL

So far you have played as a team, now it’s everyone for themselves!!!

This round consists of 3 games of 3 players (the captain gets to sit this one out and gets an automatic place in the final, choose your Captain well) on the following maps: -

WWII Eastern Front
King of the Mountains
BeNeLux

The settings for each of the 5 games will be: -

Standard
Sequential
No Cards
Adjacent
Fog off

No points awarded this round, just a simple winner takes all.

THE FINAL

Now we are down to the last 4 players, the Captain and the winners of the previous round. This is what it has all been for. One last shoot out!

This final game will be played on World 2.1 with the following settings: -

Standard
Sequential
No Cards
Unlimited
Fog – Yes

The winner of this match Reigns Supreme!

Let the games begin…

If you would like to take part please let me know in this thread. I will do my best to allocate people to teams of their choices, but it's a first come first serve basis.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy the tournament.

Regards

If players from the same big team are going to play in the same game (like you said 2 players in each for the first round), you need to make them doubles (or other team) games. It opens it up to Secret Diplomacy, which is not allowed.

That's a good point, thanks or pointing it out.

Just Round One falls into this trap, so I will now make the games in the round Doubles.

Thanks for the heads up.
