The rules are simpler than a mashed potato. You've got to complete your game as fast as possible.

The rounds are just as simple, the 2v2 game that takes the longest (in rounds) to end, every player in the game is eliminated win or lose. You are randomly assigned a partner in the beginning, and randomly assigned an opponent team each round. Once 4 teams remain 2 finals will take place on a random map, 2v2 and a 2v2 - fastest winner takes title)

In the case of deadbeats the team that the player is in automatically gets eliminated, so only the loser of the longest game is eliminated (harsh but only fair way). If 2 teams deadbeat in the whole tournament the non-deadbeat players will form a new team (hence replacing one of the players)

Final - 4 teams remain. Random Map (any including maps with objectives) - Fastest Winner Takes Championship

Hmm. I'm not quite sure how it would work with the losers losing on purpose to advance... Would they be out of the contest for the title? Or is only he final game a contest for the winner to get the title?

yes you could do that but you will also lose your points then and nobody wants that and this is want the tournament is all about, are you going to risk your points for a chance to win in the final
