Bunch of nerds.
"Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice skate uphill."
Duane: You know what they say about love and war.
Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.

Were you trying to make a point? Most (not all) of the people on this site fall into that category.

I haven't seen any of the cards from those two sets. What made them so awesome?

Multicolour.
Eventide had 5 enemy colour combinations(green/black, red/white green/blue) i.e all my favourite colour combinations. And ravnica had every colour combination and so was awesome

That almost makes it worth buying some of them. Multicolor decks were always a challenge to build effectively, thus I enjoyed them a lot. That was part of why I liked magic in the first place. Building a deck that played really well (the close to unbeatable decks) took some thought, almost to the point of a talent. I like things that make me think. Unfortunately, it would be a waste of my money since I seem to have moved to a town where no one plays.
Did they balance the cards well, or did they make some that were really broken and some that had such a negative drawback that they were useless?
