i agree make the boarders and mountains better and a textured background would also help.

Two things you'll need to address:

Neutral countries should be exactly that. As they are now, they appear to be part of the map, black them out, darken them, do something to clearly seperate them from the playable countries.

The ocean will need to be changed, either that or the countries you currently have as blue territories. The Black Sea looks like it is its own territory, but it's just water.

If you want this map to succeed, you really will need to use a program other than paint to create the image.

Well I've done the exact same thing he did over at landgrab and it looked just as bad and no one played it and it was horrible.. I find my maps only started to look decent when I started drawing the lines myself rather than just coloring a map.

I'm adding labels and circles.
ImageChildren, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.

I suggest you add a yellow outline for Africa, and is it just me or does this map seem crooked? You have to make all the lakes in Russia and Sweden clear so it is the correct design, great work with the map though.

It's "Ottoman Empire" not "Ottomans Empire."

Looks better, however I hate the neutral countries now... and the lakes in russia dont look super good.

The background is distracting.

we already have a Europe Map, so I suggest if you want to make a WW I map, to try to recreate the dynamics.
E.g. make an uncrossbale border between germany and Austro-Hungary cause they were working together and didn't attack each other.

And maybe add 4 harbors of the East US (or battleships).

Thats a good idea, not so much the battleships, but the uncrossables between Austro-Hungary and Germany.

A good map but russia is to big, and not playable

Nice graphics and a nice map but think of the continents and the bonus for holding it. It is a good map that has more to offer then the present map.

Good job
