Calculation of points awarded

Post by LR_Canada »

Hi all,

I'm new to the game and I'm trying to understand the scoring system :?: . Can some one explain how it works? As per the site:

"The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent."

Where do the winner's score and loser's score come from to calculate points awarded or deducted?

Much appreciated...

everyone starts with 1000

first game you play, if it you both had 1000 points, it would be 1000/1000 x 20 which is 1 x 20 which is 20 points which you win and they lose, you end up at 1020 and they're at 980

if you lose to someone with 4000 points it would be 1000/4000 x 20 which is .25 x 20 which means they get 5 points from you and you lose those 5 points. you are now at 995 and they are at 4005

and it just is a cumulative thing, so like my score right now is the result of over 1000 computations of loser score over winners score x 20

Thank you for the prompt reply... not that complicated. Thanks for clearing it up.
