This isn't (yet) a fascist la-la land of majority faction rule (but every day it seems to get a little closer).
IMHO, the thing to do is ban the idiot who started this thread, AND all the other folks who make appearances in these chat logs just to take a swipe at Klobber without any direct provocation. It's an unapologetic conspiracy, and it's deliberate harassment. It's conduct degrades this site. Imagine a newb who loses to a high ranked player in an eight player game... not a reason to quit the site. Even if only one of them is not a multi. That's still one prospective community member, and - oh wait - is that the welcome wagon to greet them? no, it's a bunch of jerks panning their opponent who seems to be just there trying to play and have some fun. Anyone who endured this crap to patronize a site like this should probably get a special contribution medal, not a ban
well some of this is correct... in that people have waged a small war upon Klobber.. and this particular complaint, accepting a little poetic license, is like trying to get Al Capone on tax evasion.
But ask yourself why normally reasonable people are so vehement in their attempts to, in some way, silence Klobbs.
It is because he attacks every single person he comes into contact with, he abuses the system and the only time he is pleasant is when his saccharine charms transparently manipulate those predisposed to think the best. To this affect the site has not done anything to halt his progress.
Up until now he has simply rampaged through the site without official check.. Actually i am not too unhappy about the sites reluctance to do something (Although i have had a thread or 2 derailed or ruined by him.)
In the cold light of day, the sites largely laissez faire attitude allows for character and humour to persist. Many of the 'law breakers' have the most character after all.
But the tenacious and seemingly petty Users have kept poking.. and in the attempts to see him at least muffled, if not silenced, the weight of offense has tipped the balance.
(hahah i just re-read my words and decided that the Interweb really is a serious business!)
Anyway, I do not wish to appear to lack class (particularly as Klobber is on a ban.. and some of his actions are quite amusing .. in a perverse kind of a way) but you should try to see the reasoning behind this 'witch-hunt' as your request for Inkl0sed's ban is a little out of context.
