The old Human Resources adage of terminating employees on a Friday came into play. The admins knew there would be a storm, they simply weathered it over the weekend (with Twill gone) and no admin/mods took the "bait" that a number of posters threw out there (except for maybe one). The storm will blow itself out; the mischieveous will use some of the things posted from time to time, but most people on the site will still look to the top left of the page at "Join A Game" than top middle "Forum" button.

it was known by both parties at least 2 weeks prior (some say 3, depending on where they are getting the scoop)... 2 days prior to the predetermined date, the great tick defense came into play. seriously, let it go. it is over. just like the classic map, she ain't coming back. she burned that bridge with the war she waged on the GD with her revolutionaries and mud slinging posts. had she been rational and stepped down, and stayed around and remained a part of the community, and proved she had truly changed, she could have been a mod again, and once again terrified the masses with her presence in the live chat and forums. again, it's over.. move on... your revolution failed the moment you all fought like 4th graders passing around a slam book.-0

I think CC handled things well for the most part. However, I do feel that it doesnt listen to its customer's on matters of extreme importance such as the blasted feedback

owen if you're going to pretend to be in the know, don't post crap that isn't true. Also, I didn't make any new accounts, I don't need to. don't blame me for the trolls... I wasn't the one not to have a plan in place to stop them once I stopped busting them. ...The reason it was "Handled badly" was because Wicked decided that the public forum was the place to air her dirty laundry...

On this forum essentially anonymous people with crazy usernames discuss everything under the sun.

There is no reason Wicked cannot use the forum to discuss her job situation, everyday life, etc. That's all she was doing and it is the same as what others do. She wasn't doing so as a moderator, she'd already been dismissed.

She is just another user, even if a better known user.

damn, i'm gone a few days and miss out on all the drama. after spending a lot of time looking over all the comments on this in the GD and asking a few questions of the few people i know in that are in the know i've come to this conclusion. It's all drama, can we please just concentrate on world domination again......

"In the know"? i only know the rumors flying around almost as fast as your spam/troll army, and the other bits and pieces i have collected from sources in dark alleys away from the CC light... and don't act like you don't know how your posts/actions fueled the weekend onslaught that the mighty lack and twill withstood, despite the fact they were not even around... you couldn't even burn the house down when your parents were out of town!! but, hey, nice try... i liked when you stood up in the middle of it all and declared your innocence in the entire sticky mess... i may not be as in "the know" as you are, but i also know i'm not public enemy number one around the GD anymore.. congrats!! hmmm, maybe i should putt that in the congrats thread!! and come on, you know you are still my girl!!!-0

The "appearance" of a mod is indeed correct. However, I stopped functioning as one the prior week.
