What about somehow seperating Speed games from others. Attendance in a regular game and in a Speed game are 2 different things. I think most everyone misses a few casual turns, especially for longer games, but Speed games ... should only be for emergencies or when the CC server goes down.

Until we have an option to turn Speed Games into casual games, I disagree with that. If something happens during a speed game and a player ahs to stop, there isn't nearly as much leniency as there is with casual games. I do like the idea though. If a few players join a Speed Game with a 70% attendence, I might think twice.
I like the OP's idea overall. If we end up taking this method, I would like to request that the attendence is shown as both a fraction (1,234/20,000 turns missed, for example) and a percentage (what is that, 5.1%?).

Everyone can/will miss a few turns here and there ... this will show who does so habitually as opposed to just now and then.
This is actually the other side to why speed games should be distinct. If someone ONLY misses speed game turns and not regular turns (or vice versa) ... that says something quite different from if it just shows up as a straight "missed turns" rating.

I strongly agree with Player that speed turns and casual turns should be calculated separately. Would it be possible to get a poll to see what the community thinks?
