Who here would be interested in an expirimental mafia?

I'm thinking about doing this special type of mafia: every-one has a night action, but they do not know their role. they just Pm me a name, and their night action happens to that person.
I'm thinking of about 15 players; this is not the signup thread, I'll make that later.

I think this was done before. I remember there being a role that would reveal their action to people he targeted. The game was not a success.

how about the cops? I think they'd figure thier role pretty quickly when you gave them info...

But also note that in that game no one knew anything about the mechanics, and they certainly didn't know there was a way to find out what people are, so people just gave up because of it. This time round things might work out because everyone who signs up for it will know it advance what they are getting into.

Yeah, that totally didn't work the way I planned. I found the role list (since I didn't remember how I did role learning) and I made it so limited in chance it wasn't funny. I probably should've come up with something better, but as I recall, I mad it in a rush, so I didn't consider that at all.

I think with more thought and the foresight of knowing what will happen, it could work. Even the last handful of posts are basically "How we could make this better."
