I'd like to challenge for Indochina if the challenge can be made yet?

Best of five, ONE set of settings, no challenger's choice.

I like the best of 5 setting. The best of 7 can be overwhelming and I'd like to see the challenger set one of the group. Plus, all contenders must have global settings (to make it doable for Lufsen)

Lufsen to get the poll really going you might want to send the mass PM to people like you do when a new round starts. Just a thought. If it's too much of a hassle don't worry about it, people will eventually see it.

I think that 5 games, all with the same settings would be best, if you are changing it.

It can stay as it is for all the i care..

I will. The next weeks PM will have this in mind. The poll is up 14 days.

BaldAdonis has finally managed to end my Waterloo rein - I couldn't quite find a way to win from second in 2 of the games (I took them long though).

Congrats mate =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

He has also informed me that is it possible to choose "freestyle" as your settings and force the challenger to join first. If this is the case then can this please be reviewed urgently as it's ridiculous (I have only lost once in well over 200 1v1 no cards fog games when I've gone first)

This is one of the very reasons we are re-evaluating the game structure and taking polls. What would you suggest? Challenger always join second? If we did 5 games with the challenger picking one setting that one game should the champ join first or second?

If that ever becomes a poll, my vote is for 'Eliminate Freestyle as a choice' in this tournament.

I can make one later. First this one. Then if challenger will have any settings then allow freestyle or not.

Great to see you took my reference honda. Royal Mountie is the title to the owner who is the champion. barterer is that owner/champ.

Hey kidstrumpet. Thanks for sending me the link to the thread.
Once I am done with barterer I am coming for you! ;-)

New Loyalist for Battle of Iraq. I would like to change the settings to Seq, No Cards, Chained, Foggy.

Also, would like to challenge for British Isles if it's open.

Thanks.

I won 3-0, so my Waterloo score (even though yellow) will be safe for a while :)

based on the info above (i.e. that challengers must join games first) - my settings will be freestyle, no cards, chained, fog x3

Please vote in the poll if you haven't done so already. Hmm interesting looks like some are for the 5 game and some for the 3 we have currently. Another week and a half or so more to vote, keep 'em coming.

I've updated the charts to the end of cycle 2/round 20, will post them later tonight. Still waiting on a couple more challenges to end from round 20 then I'll post the cycle 2 results above the cycle 1 results. Let me know if any more of your challenges end.

My settings for Germany are

Game 1: SNUF
Game 2: SNCF
Game 3: SFAF
Could you make these global please.(at least until the format changes :D )

I voted for the 5 game series. I would also 'eliminate' freestyle, but its not a major issue.

I have held onto Chinese Checkers 2 to 1. Good games BaldAdonis.

I also want to change my universal settings....I will change my game that is freestyle to Sequential.

I know this was one of the issues that has brought about the current poll. My personal feelings (and vote) is to keep it the way it is but eliminate all freestyle options. I have ran tournaments and I know the effort that goes into it. Making 3 games for every challenge is hard enough. 5 games or more is just hard on the organizer. Anyway thanks for running a good tournament.
