You'll need to 1st prove yourself as a worthy opponent.
PM me after you win 5 games against average players.
I wouldn't want to be accused of taking advantage of a noob.

1993 risk "champion"

Post by mitskrap »

I was there, its true about beating the computer, however, he actually lost in the final in 93 but was awarded the trophy because his opponent was disqualified and disgraced after found to be using loaded dice. True story, it may seem ridiculous and there is still some question over whether he actually used them during the whole tournament, but because of the money involved in the tournament there could be no other out come apart from to replay the game with just five players and careful observance by the judges.
By the way you and your friends seem very lovely, I hope you don't take your sweetness to the board. Although it could be quite an advantage.
Also everyone ganged up against the machine because they were terrorfied of it, and it still managed to beat them twice.

Mit Skrap!!
i didnt know you were on here!!
excelent!
well done.
cheers for the corroboration pal, its a regular witch hunt over here.
it was charlie shouwessen in '93, he had his own set of "loaded" defence dice.
so they say. we all had our own dice back then because of the rate of game play, we had over 70 odd games to play in one weekend in one church hall, so we had loads of time saving devices, individual sets of dice, people to make your manouvers on the board, fluffers, there were no fluffers really.
it all seemed so real back then do you remember mit?
not long after the cold war and the fall of the soviet union, a big red russia on the board, hundreads of red little napoleonic statuettes, and the hum of that big machine breathing in the corner.
freaky.
we sure pissed that prize money up the wall eh mit.
could do with some now.

They've come! They've COOOOOOME! I'm giddy like a schoolchild. Welcome Lamont! Your story of the old school Risk corruption is both ludicrous and mouthwateringly salacious! I picture you as having a face as craggy as the cliffs of Dover, hair as white, with perhaps some kind of salty wooden sea leg!

I'd play you, but if you are an old school champ I ain't just gonna piss away points like that... I only do that for Twill and Nobunaga, yo.

Please greet me....I am the one who invented RISK. Yes....you see i was working in Antartica back in 1875 with my friends and we didnt have anything to do so we decided to invent a game....I was the one who came up with the idea and called it RISK after my biggest love who died of hunger.
