But the point is that there is no "you" in the womb, certainly in the early stages of pregnancy. So if your foetus had in fact been aborted then, there would be no "you" to regret the fact that "you" had been aborted. "You" did not die. "You" never existed!

right was doing RE (religous education for those who dont know school slang) and we were disscussing abortion and frankly some of the methods are horrific the worse was one where they injected salt in the liquid and the baby dies in pain afer one hour of having their skin burned away and their lungs burnt from the inside out then the woman has to give birth to a dead baby.
that in my opinion was the worse but there were ones where they get sucked out to do this the baby is ripped apart and someone has to check that the whole baby has come out

it is disgusting im morally against it but i hate the way they do it.

BTW, appendix operations are pretty disgusting to watch and describe too, but I would never refuse to have one on that basis!

IMO all abortions are horrific. Partial-birth takes top honor though.

The almost -to- term child is moved around in the womb so that its feet come out first. The child is pulled out of the womb just to the point to where the base of the skull can be reached. The sucktion apperatus can then be lodged into the skull sucking out the brain. With the brain removed the skull collapses and the child removed. It is a sick society that allow this kind of "proceedure" to go on.

actually, the brain isn't fully formed until the baby is 1 year old, so by your logic, all babies under 1 could be killed for all you care.

Could be, but under current law third-trimester abortions are illegal. I don't care what Dr. Camille Crazy in Colorado is doing, that's the law.

Besides, to reiterate, at week six the fetus is .2 inches long. The diameter of a dime is .7 inches. We're discussing a collection of cells that is almost 1/4 the size of a dime. You could stack three of these onto a dime, end to end, and not run out of room.

First trimester abortions are a trivial medical proceedure and should be available immediately to all females at the price of a short talk on the dangers of not using barrier protection. Parents (of under-age girls) shouldn't be informed without the childs consent and women's partners should not be informed.
Third trimester abortions should only be permitted when there is a substantial risk to the womans physical health or the foetus is hopelessly damaged/unviable.
The middle trimester is a much greyer area.
