It's about to begin! I've decided to join because 42 is not a desirable # (41 being prime). Therefore, there will be 6 rounds of 7 games. I don't think the tourny will start for a few days but I will get privileges and make up a new bracket ASAP (my last one was for 7 rounds of 7).

YAY! They moved me over to Ongoing. It's about 4:00 PM where I live and I'm not currently able to set this up... However, I promise that by 8:00 today I will have the bracket set up and some of the games made. Hopefully I can get all of the games, but it's difficult to coordinate going back and forth between two households and having so much summer reading.

Sry I didn't follow through last night (if any one still reads this) but the plans changed and I didn't have internet access. Good news is I've made a bracket which does NOT require my participation (go figure). So we can get this thing under way and any snags we run into in the long run shall be dealt with then. As of now you will play 7 rounds of 6 games (although that obviously adds to 42 and there are only 42 to you so the last round will have only 5 games).

Good News Everyone! I've made all of the games for Round 1, which I will proceed to pm to you over the course of the next few hours (hopefully w/ the help of Cry_Wolf). If you read this message before you get a PM please let me know and I'll send you the password instead of all 6 games (it'll save me a little time). IDK how many I can send out in an hour but they're all there so feel free to ask for the password and you can join yourself.
For round 1 I'm being generous and giving 72 hours (3 days) for you to join AFTER I pm you either the games or the password. After the 72 hours you will be dropped and everyone will automatically win against you. If 72 hours goes by and you can come up w/ a very good excuse then I may let you continue since the tournament is just beginning.
NOTE: If you deadbeat from ANY round in the tournament you are disqualified from ALL rounds of the tournament and automatically lose ALL games (even those previously won). It seems harsh but A) I have no reserves and B) it is the only fair method for this type of tournament. If you beat someone in an early round and then drop out not only would people who play you after you dropped out get the win against you but when calculating the Power aspect they would get your win against the person from earlier (if you read the link you might understand that). Therefore it's all participation or no participation in the name of fairness (if everyone beats you then its fair because noone gets an advantage from beating you).

Posting the games would be great... I'm glad we're operating so quickly (although I hope not to have make 126 games in 1 day again). I'm going to start work on Rd. 2 soon so as to spread out the workload. Just tell me who wins Rd. 1 games and I'll log it (I've got a Wordpad and spreadsheet document keeping track of this).

spectacular... it's been less than 1 day and already we have 73 games in progress and 8 games done... It looks like most of the other games have one participant, and it's just a few select people who have yet to join. They still have 2 days but I'm glad to see how quickly this tournament it moving.
