Not sure if that was meant to happen on the bottom. Probably due to resolution, but just thought I would mention it.

My only problem with this map is that it slows down entering games.

1.9.9 should fix that, thanks for spotting that, lance.

Ok, few questions first:

1. When did you first install Turn Watch?
2. Are you playing tournaments?
3. Have you added any games in the last few days?

There has been a recent change to the site which might affect people with tournaments but I need some feedback to fix if that is the case.

1. Can't remember exact date but a month or so ago.

2. Yes I am signed up for tournaments and awaiting games to be started.

3. have no current games available to be played but have joined a private game and a tournament in last day and clicking on turn watch in game box does not work.

Hope these answers are clear if not I can try to explain further.

Ok, try uninstalling and make sure the "uninstall associated preferences box" is checked beforehand. Then install using the link in the head post of this thread. And then see what happens.

Good, sorry for the inconvenience. There were a few days including this week where a small site change could have produced corrupt data in the associated preferences, so clearing them (resetting them by uninstalling) is an idea if anyone else is also suffering from the same problem.

The last 2 fixes get around this, but in the interim between the site change and someone reporting this there may well have been problems.

I'm running TW on both my computers, and have (ahem) let's say 'several dozen' games (it's closer to 100) it's watching. I've un-installed and re-installed TW on both, including all preferences, and I'm still having the same problems:

Clicking 'Turn Watch' in the game area doesn't add the game to the watch -- particularly in the ~mygames2 area (awaiting players). The 'Turn Watch' link used to disappear, and when TW reloaded the game was there.

Also, often TW hangs up at 99% loaded.

I don't know if the two issues are related or not.

Turn Watch link is a problem and will be fixed soon.

There is still a residual problem from the recent site change to the mygames page, it looks like, so I will look into that for the hanging problem.
You've already said that uninstalling associated preferences doesn't work so I'll check the site changes again.

Worked adding a waiting game, only had one waiting, so take it for that, I'm sure others have more waiting and can report their success.

Two questions:
1) I just saw a post about 2.0.1, yet I'm on 1.9.8 and I see no option to update, though going to Userscripts.org, I see that 2.0.2 is now the current version. How and how often does TW check for updates?

2) Maybe upgrading to 2.0.2 will fix this, but I've noticed an issue. In game 2909633, when I click on the magnifying glass to pull up the map, it shows three continents owned by players, when in fact only one really is. I've noticed this on quite a few maps over the last several weeks (well, since I installed it 2, maybe 3 months ago), but never said anything until now.

I'm running Clickable Maps, Turn Watch & BoB, in case there are any conflicts there that you're aware of.

Thanks for the great tool - overall it's really useful, and I've obviously overlooked issue #2, so it's not that big a deal - just figured I'd mention it.

Wow! Thanks for jumping on this so fast. Unfortunately, now it won't pop up the view at all when I hit the magnifying glass! :?:

FF 3.0.1
TW 2.0.3

Edit: Didn't get to try it under FF 2.0.15, which is where I was having the problem earlier - I'll have to get back to you on that.

Working on that game you posted.

Ok

1. Does this happen on all games?
2. Can you give the game number for all of the non-working ones please.

Thanks

1. Yup, happens in all 4 games I'm in (Fremium hint there...)

2. Game numbers: 2883401 2886290 2909633 2887088

Again, many thanks for this. It's a great tool and I've really come to rely on it. I really appreciate that you're jumping in and fixing these bugs so quickly.

Well, I have FF 3.0.1 and works fine for me with all of your games.
Are you getting any errors (If you dont have Firebug look at Tools->Error Console) ?

Next time we're both online , PM me and we'll go through it in chat.

Many thanks to Chipv for working with me to get this resolved. Seems that there wasn't an issue with the script, but something was broken in my FF install. After a clean install of FF 3.0.1, it was working like a champ.

A huge thanks to Chip for a great script, and for working online with me for about an hour at 3am his time to work through these issues.

2.0.5 new version fixes problem on game pages.

This will now also behave same way as Map Rank for new versions so you can now click on the Latest Version Installed button
once you have this version.
