Fix the server!

A few quick questions. Do you see a bunch of question marks instead? Is there a line through your name? Does the word "yes" appear next to Fog of War?

That might clear things up.

No question something just caused the server to take a major dump.

I don't know what the QA looks like back there at Salamander, but you guys really should try to figure out what's causing these hiccups. If it's really the hosting service, then I think YOU should get your money back!

I'm not about to take the risk of using add ons when the normal game itself is full of glitches as it is. The server has gone down for at least the hundredth time now, and I am getting screwed out of major points.

Check out the game log at the end of game 2663867 when the site went down. Almost cost me my guaranteed win. Now if you ask me, that is NOT the way this game is supposed to be played.

I just took a look at an ongoing speed game. They are pulling their hair out!

Seemed like the problem was particularly the dice routines. I had some rolls where my armies just disappeared and I never saw the dice. (And - off topic - I kid you not I must have rolled about 20 0-2's this afternoon, and a good number of 0-1's). I have a strong suspicion what's going on here is that every once in a while an epic build game comes along where someone decides to auto-attack, and it crashes the site. But that's just a hunch.

I also have a hunch, since its been happening more lately, that the computations involved in figuring out who gets a medal (think about it... compared to a couple of simple computations... each game requires many many many logical compares to determine if it meets the unique player standards, and that just gets worse the more games you play (unless you have maxed our every medal). They might be trying to batch process those functions during downtimes, but, again, when you have games with massive auto attack potential... I'm guessing it only takes two users to max out the game engine.

Not that I know any more than the rest of you... but seems plausible.

Why do I keep getting sent to a page that tells me that I am "FORBIDDEN to access this page on this server" every time I try and click a button or roll the dice. Even now looking at this screen most of the smilies are not able to be shown for some reason. Yesterday everything was fine now it's all out of whack. Any info? please PM me cuz i may not make it back to this page.

I keep getting forbidden when accessing what seems like random pages - home page, game pages, forum pages. If I reload the same page, works. sometimes all the stylesheets have gone and I get nice plain text!

By chance are you all using FF3??? I didnt have these problems with FF2 until I installed FF3 yesterday. I didnt have any problems really until this afternoon other than my ConquerTell isnt working because I dont have the latest of that yet.

I'm getting the 403 error when I deploy or attack too, I need to refresh constantly, and then I get the "Forbidden" page....RedHat server? I hope your hosting site has the Kernel vulnerbility issues patched for the servers.

on about every other ACTION, not turn, it takes me 45 minutes to take a TURN that would usually take no more than 5 min. I lost a game because i couldn't fort; only because the server kept crashing, or my armies wouldn't show up so i had no idea where to push what where. Either that or the server would time out. But i can play World of Warcraft smooth as babies shit (and this game doesn't have any fucking graphics). All i have to say is, anyone who is paying to play, should get at least a month free.

I came off of FF and went back to IE, that didn't solve anything. It's gotta be on CC's end.

Symptoms:
Error code 432(?) or times out when I click to deploy, attack, fort, etc. Sometimes I can refresh page, other times it goes to....
403 Forbidden
...or, sometimes....
