Increase number of games for non-premium to 5

Post by qingshun »

I was thinking why limit the games to 4 ? That is an unlucky number.. lol.

Anyway, by increasing the number of games to 5. Everybody gets to play one extra game more and that may boost the traffic flow to this site and inturn the admins can generate some cash by selling ad-space. Plus, everybody would luv you more.

Wouldn't that be a win-win for everyone ? :P

You know what so many players come on sign up for games, and then deadbeat. I think if you want to play 5 games you can pay, it certainly is not alot of money, and is a very well run site.

four games is plenty

Post by sadistic »

Four games is plenty for FREE....

I think this is great that you can play it free for unlimited time period. That's more than enough time to evaluate it and you can really do it for as long as you want.

The other guys are right, it's not a lot of money and it's about the perfect amount that I could ask for it as a Christmas gift next month.

I was considering dominategame but I'm looking forward to be a premium subscriber here instead because the maps are so much better and I prefer team games plus I just found out they're working on adding additional features to conquer club including realtime games and "Fog of War" (blind maps) which is the strength at the competing website.

I hope the developer(s) read this thread: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8526 and seriously take the suggestion into consideration.

I don't see the number being increased for nonpremium members...as it works nice for weeding out newbies joining creating 4 games, perhaps not staying interested, and leaving. Those who are interested must play 1 more game to become a private...thus to get to 'private' status, you actually have to be interested more than just once.

At least, that's how I understand how it is set up, and makes sense to me.

The point is I think 4 is too many, as a premium member if I start a few games and a newbie joins all 4 of them and deadbeats, it is a waste of mine and everybody elses time. If you need 5 to become a private wait till a game is over to play another one, you should know if you want to play by then.

Four is fine, and you also mentioned selling ad-space.

That is one of the best things about this site, NO ads.

Still a newbie here, but got to the four free game limit and first thing I did was upgrade.
In most cases US$20 is affordable, so personally can't see any real reason to increase the limit (apart from those that just want to take server space, and give nothing back to the developers.)

ONE GAME

Post by Jamie »

I think one game is plenty. If you're not going to pay, then you should just get a taste of the action, and one game would do that. Plus this site is so addictive that one game would make alot more people pay premium, and would greatly reduce the number of new recruit deadbeats.
