Allow toggles to block PMs, block game chat, block game joining (still remains on your end and theirs), or visibility of forum posts.

This function could also include more advanced forum uses- blocking threads started by the user, completely hiding posts, or even making quoted text be hidden if the user is quoted

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Less non-sensible user frustration with other non-sensible users

Mod Note: Due to the variability in Foe List Customization Suggestions, this thread has been created to encompass a large majority of them.

Perhaps the ignore list only prevents people from your ignore list from joining games that you are in and not you from joining games that they are in....you should be perceptive enough to notice that you do not want to play someone in a game and not attempt joining that game...

This caught me out a while ago. If you place someone on your ignore list then game text is suppressed for that player. I'm not sure if this occurs in an active game but I suspect so.

The ignore list is a good way of ensuring that players who you have encountered in the past you don't have to play ingame again. However other than the advantage of not seeing them spout in the game it could get confusing - particularly if you don't realise it is going todo that.

LOL!! I think duggy was the first on my Ignore list, but I took him off...he is just too damn good a player to ignore! The funny directions he gives are really just an excellent psych...

As to the Ignore list, I am eternally grateful that it axes the chat; when one does get the unfortunate luck to be stuck with some true ass / cheater, it is so refreshing to NOT have to see the BS spouting from their piehole; and as a bonus, assuming they did not reciprocate, it is fun to post misc comments and dream about their muted replies....LOL!!!!

yes... this was verry anoying to me... i wanted someone on my list, but i was still playing them... i add them... and i can no longer see my entire conversation with them... so i go remove them, and i have to remember to add them back at the end

I would really like it if the Ignore function would cut the posts out of threads, like it does in game chat, by the individuals on "The List".....

Exactly Team_player, right on the nosey. Lack doesn't like going around and altering the forum software...it makes updates more and more tedious when he does so.

We just have to wait and see what features come out with each update and release of the next phpBB forum software.
