The standings have been updated with groups 2 and 3 both complete and groups 4 and 1 on their final games.... heres another fast-action recap:

In group #1, having already lost two players, it seems inevitable that I will need to remove PejiGrim now as he has gone a week without joining his game. I really didn't want to have to do this but the tournament must go on. As of now, killmanic holds the lead with a really tight race for that last 2nd round spot brewing with the bottom 3 players all within 9 points of each other.

In group #2, the games have been completed! And even though I personally won't be going on (thanks only to amazzony's killer move from 8th place to 1st in the last 2 games) we do have the top 4 moving on: amazzony, XGoToChurchX, herndawg and banana_hammocks. All I can say is that banana_hammocks was 4th in the group with 91 points!! Really, enough said. Congrats to the players moving on and thanks for joining and being a part of the tournament shaunchef, kljjr and Haggis_McMutton.

In group #3, competition is also complete. With a whopping 187 points (tops in the tournament so far and not likely to be easily surpassed) Dunk90 clinched his spot in the next round. The final game to be completed (#7) was a clean sweep and a true definition of whip-out. Congratulations are due for the next round players Dunk90, topper, wmlawman, AtreidesHouse who just edged out Junpai for the last spot. Thank you to Junpai, sharpie129 and killerkern for playing!

FInally, group #4 still has 3 games to play but is very close to completion and as of right now, bonus_mop sits atop the leader board. I will wait to announce winners once the games are complete.
