Ha Ha, you are a sadist!

But here's one last one.

They arrived on a Wednesday night.

Friday:
Tad: Is it the Weekend already? Dew, but time goes quick.
Mum: Mmm.

Monday:
Tad: I don't know, Monday already! Time just whizzes by.
Mum. I know.

Tuesday:
Tad: We've been here almost a week! Christ, the time is flying by!
Mum: Eh?

Thursday:
Tad: Four days left. Sometimes the days go so quick!
Mum: Yes, we go home on Tuesday.

Saturday:
Tad: It'll be time to go home home soon. Dew, Dew, it's just going so quick.
Mum: What?

Monday:
Tad: Goodbye son. It's gone in a flash!
Mum: I don't think your father realises how quickly the time goes sometimes...

I'm sorry Johnny, we'll try better next time. In other news, I have just started reading "Firestarter" by Stephen King. Just finished the Mander's farm portion. Crazy book kind of seems like it's Steven King's take on science fiction. Anyone else read it?

Not a Stephen King fan, though I sold lots when I had a games shop and started selling books that appealed to gamers.
Currently re-reading George R R Martin's "Ice and Fire" series, and hoping that he'll finish writing the next volume before I get to end of the current stuff (he'll need to hurry though).

Not familiar with that. Series or Author.

one of my favourite things about moving to the US is that I can get lots of books by LLoyd Alexander, one of my favourite authors. For years, I only had his "Prydain" series. Five books. now I have about 20.

One of my unfavourite things about moving to the US is that I had to leave about three quarters of my books behind. I brought about 1,000. But between library sales and school fundraisers, and a few I've paid full price for, the numbers are going up again. I'd guess I've bought around 200 books since I've been here.

I've always liked what I've read from Stephen King but for whatever reason I've never seemed to finish any of his books. Got about 3 chapters into Carrie and then lost it at the beach. Started to read The Shining, decided to put it off because of schoolwork and have never gotten back to it. Tried to get into The Stand and never finished. and so on and so forth. I'm hoping I can at least get half-way through with this one.

I was watching Alton Brown's Good Eats with the recipe for banana ice cream in last night. Next time I have a bit of spare time, i'm going to have a go at that.

If you're passing through NJ, Andy, I'll save ya a bowlful.

And lobster is way over-rated. In fact,s as molluscs and crustaceans go, I only really like scallops. And occasionally a snail.

Hate crab, lobsters all right.

By the way, I'm being watched. Not as we speak but there is a gray van parked across the street and a guy with binoculars in it. They haven't bugged me yet though so maybe they think I'm just full of hot air.
