Bad Players

This is just a general moan at some players on CC who continually attack the weakest players while the strongest build up their armies and win. It has happened to me in sooooo many games now it is beyond a joke. It is done by people who have no idea of strategy. I am currently in 2 games where this is happening and it is driving me crazy.

This is supposed to be a discussion, I didnt personally name anyone it was a general observation of a couple of games I was in. I never claimed to be "the greatest strategist on this website" and I am disappointed that there are people like you still around.

I have about only two games where it was real bad. But both of the games were three player. I think that can be the big problem.

Sure, you didn't name names but implied that you've been the victim of other's bad play. Thing is, like everything else, when someone is repeatedly "the victim of the stupidity of others", they probably need to look at what they're doing.

I mean, my mother always complains about how many bad drivers there are out there. Thing is, I won't get in the car if she's behind the wheel. All those bad drivers swerving all over the road? They're doing it to avoid her.

So, somebody looked at what you were doing and it seems as if you did the classic poor move of wasting all your armies in 3v3 battles on the first turn in an attempt for a card. That, my friend is bad play. Frankly, I'm surprised that you didn't, as so many others who do that, also complain about your bad dice in that situation. So, can we assume that this was one of the many games that people picked on the last place guy which happened to be you? Sounds to me like you had a bunch of 1 army countries out there. Who wouldn't hit you?

Sorry if you feel picked on but that's the chance you take when you bring this sort of thing up in the forums. Somebody's going to look into your games and see if you're full of it or not. Well, guess what, it looks like you're sort of full of it.

Actually, if I may, I think your "problem" is the fact that you start a thread like this expecting everyone to agree with you that you're the victim of the poor play of others and then cry like a bitch when it's pointed out that you seem to be guilty of some rather poor play yourself. That, my dear man, is your problem.

See, the round one suicide is not something that any decent player ever does. Ever. If one is to create a list of things that only poor players do, flipping out and wasting all their guys in round one attacking 3v3 would certainly be near the top. Sorry, but the truth hurts.

Now, none of are perfect, and I've certainly made my fair share of mistakes in this game and otherwise. But that's not the point. See, the point is, you had the nerve to start a thread complaining about the play of others. I'm sorry it didn't work out the way you hoped. I'm sorry somebody bothered to look up one of your games (hell, I don't know how many more there were but I looked it up as well and it was pretty damned recent) and realized that you were talking out of your ass.

You do realize this, don't you? You do realize that if you start a threat talking crap about the play of others and it is discovered in one of the first games anyone looks up you committed one of the lamest thing somebody can do in this game, you're going to take some heat. Why in god's name would you expect anything else to happen?

It amazes me that people are amazed at the system, which is just basic as basic gets.

You may be ridiculed for nothing for no reason even if you never post anything negative.

If you post something negative, you will always be called out on it. Some will do it for fun, and some will do it to discourage more negative behavior.

If they go too far, others may call them out on it.

But basically, if you have something to complain about, then go for it. But never, ever expect to not have your faults exposed. You dont have to like it, but dont be surprised by it. Its just simple human nature.

More importantly, if someone posts something funny about you, defending it, will almost only ever make it worse. Just laugh along, or better add to it and make it funnier, but never imply that its ok for you to call other peoples actions stupid, but that its not ok for others to call your actions stupid.
