I fail to see how these are mutually exclusive.

rocksolid wrote:Hey guys, I just had a little scare there. This thread had been limping along at about a half page a day and then I tune in and bam! six pages. So I immediately assume there'd been some spam episode like the dark days of page 29 (or whenever it was), and discover to my relief that the outburst was nothing of the sort...
An important lesson to be learned about all this: if the thread ever slows down again, it can easily be revived by discussing viscerally unpleasant topics. Today: suicide (sorry Johnny), wolf spiders and/or driving with spiders who may or may not be suicidal, and bugs generally. Topics I will stow away for the future: toenail infections, drunk-vomiting stories, and the best condiments to add to a placenta sandwich.
As for me, I like spiders, and generally items that have the qualifier "wolf" preceding them. Maybe it's just the Duran Duran in me, but I think I'd think computer monitors were cooler if they were called "wolfscreens". Or if instead of checking my front door for the newspaper, I was picking up the morning wolfsheet. And I'm 5'11". And am presently typing on my laptop in the bushes outside Smithy's house. I think that updates everything...
I'm just proud of you for actually reading all that you missed out on...

Well, seeing as I had read 1 through 57, I would have felt incomplete not catching up. I'm kind of from the in-for-a-penny,-in-for-a-pound school of forum participation. But I do appreciate the pride, said the sociable lion.

Unfortunately no, but I do recall playing an RPG where I met an avatar of the same name you mentioned...coincidence? I think not... **sniffs the pungent odor and smiles; rubs on a little 'lotion'.**
