So is the gameplay okay now oaktown?

I made the last change you suggested. Maybe the map is ready to be stamped now unless there are some other gameplay issues from your side?

Sure, I'll give it a stamp... now let's have the graphics police have a go at it! :)

Gimil I am waiting for your feedback on the graphics of this map as well. Let me know what needs to be done to proceed further.

The coin image could do with a drop shadow the same as all the other items on the map. e.g. legends, title etc. I also think that you could move the title area over to the right a fair bit to cut some width off the left hand side. Right now theres a fair bit of dead space which you could do with reducing.

After this and the issues in lux are brought addressed ill probably stamp them both.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

I added the shadow to the coin as you suggested, but I did not move the title area for one specific reason. If I shift it to the right it will cover the upper part of the tower in the background.

Version 1.21 - Added shadow to the San Marinese coin

With the 2 other congrats!
But I must say Mountains and the bridge are a bit sketchy for me. I know i'm coming late  , but better is allways possible
De gueules à la tour d'argent ouverte, crénelée de trois pièces, sommée d'un donjon ajouré, crénelé de deux pièces
Gules an open tower silver, crenellated three parts, topped by a apertured turret, crenellated two parts

I agree with pamoa about the bridge. It's out of place next to your really clean look on everything else. The mountains are fine, in my opinion. And the river color is just slightly "off", I don't know if it's the bevel on them, but it's not the right blue, a slightly lighter or darker shade would work.

i'm not a fan of the colors of the continents... not because they look bad in the playable area, but they are extremely hard to read in the legend... maybe change the font of that or rework the colors in the map.

just my opinion

Maybe you should make the left Torris facing the other way.

The rivers, towers and colour scheme were extensively discussed and modified in the previous pages if you check them out. Various options were given and polls were set up for many days in order to determine which ones were chosen.

It's looking good, but I would still like to see what the torri look like with a slightly feathered base...

Yes, I haven't forgotten you Ben. I just have limited time at my disposal right now while I finish my final uni exams.

I will look into that in a few days hopefully. ;)

Wow, looks great rubean. You really like making maps of small countries and you do them well. The only problem is that alot of people probably don't know where they are, would it be helpful to post a minimap in the corner with a map of europe or italy showing its location?

Personally I don't think that's needed. If somebody doesn't know where a place is, they can google it.

making nice maps there mate :D

for the bonusses, strategy wise (and gamepley) the game will revolt around Ca'Rigo and Fiorentino/Acquaviva with a smaller place for Fiorina/Domagnano

therefor I ask for a +2 on Domagnano (making it a South America) or a +3 for Serravalle.

this is to stop blobbing with 2 to defend territories in this game, which no doupt will still happen.

The green border is still slightly pixelly around the edge of the map. Did you ever get around to playing around with border styles?
