Look at page 35 you will see that it is correct. The line from Towakwa is connected graphicly and in code.

The problem is that Pampa and Lubbock have their map coordinates swapped. So Towakwa does connect to Lubbock, it's just that Lubbock's armies are shown in the Pampa army circle.

I checked the connections a few times, and didn't find any mistakes in the end. So it's not in the connections. I however didn't check the coordinates, so it can be that the mistakes is in there indeed.

Agreed - it's pretty impossible to check the co-ordinates for each one.

It looks like the co-ordinates for the two territories need to be swapped over.

Have you got a fix, responding to RJ and Yeti's bugs, RG?

I just ran into this issue. My terit list shows I own Pampa.... but I don't. To test it out, I placed my initial 3 armies on Pampa. Voila, they landed on Lubbock, which I DO own.

Obviously, Lubbock doesn't show up in my terit list.

It is an easy fix and you have the right idea, but you're off slightly.

The coordinates for those territories are switched. It's an easy mistake to make when coding and not an easy one to catch without map tools.

Agreed...

I'm starting to wonder if I could knock up a version of BOB for the mapmaker screen...

New Map - Texas or Texans

Post by Dominator7 »

There is no drop down box for Lubbock. Cannot add armies or attack from this territory. I don't know if the territory can be attacked as this territory has been mine since the start of the game. :o :(

well it depends. If people are able to attack Pampa from Towakwa, then its just that the names are switched.

edit: eh nvm if yeti says your right, then your right

 all you have to do is simply go on the "Save As" and just tipe in ".xml" after it instead of just putting nothing there!
and the XML is up anyway so it doesnt matter

First, thanks for the map! My friends and I have been playing for only a few weeks now, and were looking for something new to move to from the Classic map. This happened to pop up the very day we were planning on starting a new game, and it's been a very fun game.

One small issue we've run into. For some reason Pampa is periodically displaying with the wrong color. Early in the game it continued to display blue for a few turns after we all saw it taken by green, but that went away. Now it's displaying red, despite the fact that red has *never* owned Pampa the entire game. Even though it's displaying oddly, it still acts as though green owns it (he should).

For most of the game it has displayed correctly, it's just those few turns early on and right now that it's doing something wrong. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Regarding this XML... http://www.sendspace.com/file/s6ao96

Invalid xml. there are minus signs everywhere.

You'll have to fix it up properly RG.

Game # 251279

I cannot attack from andrews to lubbock.
Pampa does not show up as one of my terr.
So far that is all I have noticed.

Cool map otherwise, nailer1000
