When deploying, the script will often not increase the armies, once changed, past a random, given number. This may or may not relate some how to the last number of troops fortified somewhere. Many times it seems to have, but a few it times it hasn't.

I am also wondering if the coder of this software might be able to help me solve another problem that I've been having which has affected this script as well. There is some piece of code that the main Clickable Maps code does not use, however the help/user guide section does. Whatever this code is, BOB's Map Inspect feature also seems to use it. It causes firefox to severely mess up graphically. In BOB with Map Inspect, it seems to do it only horizontally across the entire screen where the map is. For this script's user guide, it does it for the whole screen, presumably because the user guide takes the whole screen. Any ideas?

Lastly, the script seems to mess with the automatic refreshing of the map. It will work for a short period of time in the first game I play for the day, then it stops working for the remaining games.

If any further information is required, please feel to ask. I'll try to remember to check the post, but PM'ing me may work out better.

Thanks for a great script! :)

First off, are you sure you're using up to date versions of both BOB and Clickable Maps? If not, be sure to upgrade them both, as well as making sure you're not running duplicate scripts (ie two versions of BOB).

the first item you mentioned is a known issue, i just haven't had much time to fix it yet. i think it only happens when deploying in the middle of a turn after eliminating another player and trading in their cards. is that what happened to you?

to be honest, i have no idea what you are talking about with regard to your second item :?. i would look into hecter's suggestion to make sure you have updated versions of both bob and clickable maps, and also make sure that you have only one of each script installed...

the last item you mentioned, the automatic refreshing, i have not seen yet, but i don't usually play speed games. i will try and repeat the problem so i can fix it.

thanks for your feedback! and sorry for the slow reply...

I have only run into one issue, when I use BOB's hide menu feature, it causes clickable maps to disappear and then it will only allow me to make one move before I have to exit the game and then go back in. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this yet. Let me know if it is just something I am doing wrong.

I have BOB 4.3.6 and Clickable Maps 3.21. Thanks for the hard work on this great script.

i think i was able to recreate your problem, if i understand you correctly, and the i was able to get my floating army counter and flashing from-marker back was to click the [refresh map] link.

if i leave bob's 'hide menu' option set to 'on', then i do not seem to have this problem at all.

does that answer your question?

I'm experiencing intermittant failure with cickable maps hotkeys.

It seems to be happening more frequently.
I have the latest versions of BOB and Clickable maps and don't have duplicates running.

The hot keys won't work, and then after a while they just start working again.
Any hints?

HAHAHAH, you're such a hypocrite.

Thanks alot for Clickable maps, Ed. I do have one problem though. When i am forting and deploying, there are times when the number hotkeys on my keyboard dont work. I don't have them configured to any other hotkeys but sometimes when i hit a number, it will change to a different number. I don't know why, but it could be the same reason for my dropdown menus changing around a few days ago.

Also, on the end phase hotkey, if you keep on pressing it, it just stays on the same screen. I have to wait for the entire page to load before i hit it. Then, i have to wait for the page to load before i hit it again. I don't know if theres anything that can be done to fix this, but it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for this great script.

Hmmm, let me take a look at the games we've played against each other.

1, 6 player-- I won

1, 8 player-- I won

2 Br's--- 1 of which I won, neither of us won the 2nd...

@oggiss: i'm not sure what you are trying to do, but it sounds like you are trying to install the script without installing greasemonkey first? instructions for installing greasemonkey are here: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41487

@poo-maker & reckedracing: yeah, the forum upgrade seems to have broken a few hotkeys and i haven't had time to fix them yet--but they are fixable. i'll have a new version out at soon as i get time to work on it.

When using clickable maps in ubuntu a right click on the map still brings up a right click context menu as per a standard web page.
Im using only this script and BOB, both up to date, so is greasemonkey. I am loading BOB before this script.
Sorry if this has been reported already, but in lieu of a list of known bugs it hard to tell.

Molwen, no i haven't seen this bug before -- but then i don't run ubuntu, either. it will be rather difficult for me recreate this bug for that reason. does this happen consistently or intermittently?

point well taken about the bug list. i'll see about posting one...

It is consistent. I have decided not to use clickable maps anymore, as i prefer the good old drop down menus, so it wont be bothering me anymore. If there is anything you want me to try out to help though i would be happy to.

My clickable maps has suddenly stopped working... now I only get messages in my error console that say "ConquerClubClickableMaps: checking xml status". The only thing that works are the hotkeys. I cannot click on territories and no numbers or tooltips appear when I hover over territories. It was working fine until yesterday, I think...

hmmm... well, nothing stops working all by itself. something must have changed. have you installed any new greasemonkey scripts, switched browsers, anything like that? try removing it and reinstalling clickable maps--and make sure that you have only one installed. does this happen on all maps, or just one?

hey, to who ever created this wonderful thing, can the next version not include the error messages when you try to fort or attack the wrong country. there is nothing more frustrating than clicking slightly off on the wrong land and then not getting a card bc your trying to close a storm of popups in the final seconds. thanks!

ps. i dont see what would be wrong with just letting it not work at the end.
