I posted this in the Q&A but figured I might get more help here.

Ok, maybe this is me not fully understanding this new board but I can't figure out how to finish this game:

I seem to be able to bombard every USSR terit except the silos from my missile launch but my opponent has one army left on a silo that I can't beat and I have no USSR terits and he has no USA terits. Is this game impossible to win except via deadbeat?

the xml needs to be fixed so that the silos can be bombarded as well.

-As I read the map, Mission Launch should also be able to bombard the enemy silos, but they aren't listed in the XML
-And I'm not sure about this. Should the Mission Launch also be able to bombard the enemy Missile Launch? If they are, then also these are missing in the XML

OK here is the Update
1) Missile Launch can now bombard enemy Missile Silo territories
2) Missile Launch CANNOT attack or Bombard enemy Missile Launch. Basically the Missile Launch is representative of the missile in the air ready to kill. Use em' or Lose em' because the territory resets to 15 neutrals at each turn.

Just played a couple of foggy 1v1s on this, and wow. The fog makes things brutal, you're always guessing which neutral army your opponent just killed (and what bonus he just snagged)...

But the fun of the fog pales in comparison to the true glory of this map, which is NUKING YOUR OPPONENT INTO OBLIVION. Holy crap that's some fun shit. Well done guys.

For some reason the label "USA" isn't on the US side of the map. It's in the final version in this thread, but not on the map in live play. I assume that WM just accidentally switched the layer off before the images got to lack, or something like that.

Also why is it Ekatirenburg and Leningrad? They were never called this at the same time!! You would better change Ekaterinburg to its proper communist name Sverdlovsk

And Samara was called Kuibyshev in the USSR

BTW, Albert Lamorisse did not do his homework either, as Ukraine takes over all Western Russia and Afganistan is taking the territory of Kazakhstan, while the map is crowned with 2 cities of Yakutsk and Irkutsk!

being that the USSR was closed off during much of the cold war, this make accurately reflects the inaccurate intelligence that was common during the era.
