POP!
That's the sound my knee made a little bit ago. Right now, its a bit swollen and hurts like HELL. And worse comes to worse, I'll have to have knee surgery on it, for the second time on that knee, and 3rd time in total.
"Eh, whatever."

Re: POP!
No injuries to my knees yet, thank Edgar. Come to think of it, no serious injuries whatsoever. Oh, wait! I had a six inch piece of telephone pole shoved four inches into my wrist. That hurt.
Anyway, sorry to hear your hurt, bro! Good luck with recovery.

You spelled muay wrong.
Unless you are half Thai and half Spanish and demonstrating that you were very Thai with a spice of Spanishness with your username in which case I'm sorry.

Yes I KNOW I spelled it wrong! If I could have, I would have fixed a year ago! Also, I'm into Muay Thai the martial art style, you know, knees, elbows, Thai kicks, etc...

Ohwait. Wrong pop. Um, goo dluck with your knee?
No, its called "pop," bastard, because that's the sound it makes when you open a can of pop. BAM!
And to CA, it was from doing windmill kicks. I landed wrong after the kick.

Bah. I know this is off-topic, but do you refer to beer in cans as being "Pop"?muy_thaiguy wrote:Glork wrote:It's called "soda," bitch.

In the future I will use this as awesome evidence for why calling soda "pop" is stupid. Thank you Glrok.

A jumping spinning kick I imagine? Man I feel for ya' I've never had it happen to me, but a student on mine went through it. It can happen with the smallest misstep. Hope you heal quickly.

Yeah, you do a crescent kick, turn with it, jump up with the other leg while turning, and then kick with the same leg that you did before. But I'm going to wait a few days, see what happens, and if it doesn't get better, I'll go see a doctor about it (not the first time though).

No, just limit it to pop/non-alcoholic beverages.

If I'm envisioning it correctly we call that a double crescent. You're throwing two crescent kicks while in the air and spinning, right? That's a tough kick.

The first one is to get you moving and the motion going, the second one is done in the air. Needs a lot of coordination, which it seems I am lacking.

I was hoping this was another thread where I could talk about "cocola" to piss you off. Hope that noise works out alright for you anyhow.

At least your injury was doing something interesting. A coupla years ago I broke a ligament putting the milk in the fridge (recently-washed floor). People said, "what was it? Rugby? A fight?" ans: "No. Dairy-related."

Yeah, that is kind of sad.
In more recent news, I'm going to get a refferal today so I can go see the people I normally do about these things tomorrow.
