This is the regalia of the Honor Guard of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. The white cape reflects my position as a Past "Faithful Navigator" or the head of a local "assembly" of the Fourth Degree (dedicated to patriotism). The jewel is for the position of "District Deputy" who is in charge (or I should say I assist and facilitate) of several local "councils" in the K of C. My current district the 2nd NY district covers the North Fork of Long Island, home to a number of vineyards and wineries.
