are the premium memeberships going to be given out for multiple months? and if they are has any thought been given to the idea of giving one or two of those available spots to newer players- i'm not meaning to sound greedy, as i am a newish player, but giving one or two to newer players could be good PR that gets more people to tell other people about the site, and it could increase revenue because people who are given the membership might like the benefits and pay to renew it when that time comes

i don't think that's how it works from what i can tell everyone that gets one is either given one meritoriously or someone suggests someone to Lack with a reason why. i think new people have gotten them as have regulars. Who knows, maybe it's even given to someone who is young and has no way of paying for prem.

i know that it isn't a thing that's for public relations. this site has gotten so much bigger through word of mouth. i know i got here through a friends feedback on another forum which is totally non-related to gaming.

all i know is that the site benefits from the Anonymous one. in that the site gets bigger & better.

i think in the first one the anonymous gave away it was said that the donation to the site was given with a understanding that 5 members would get a prem. and, i think the donation doubled hence making it 10 members a month.

all i really know is that it's not about greed or anything.
just a good deed.

i look forward to seeing who gets them. it's really fun. hey, maybe when my renewal comes up i hope to get one. lol.

That might be a good idea, but most new members leave after some games. That would mean wasting a free premium on a person that might get bored of the game or he/she isn't as experimented and gets frustrated. I know people that left just because it is hard to win as a beginer. Mostly because of the strategy part of the game. Look in most low ranked games. There will always be someone that is experimented but can't get a really high rank and they stay a sergent or so.
