2006, The Year of the Cardinals.
A brand new stadium, awesome line-up, WS Champions...
The only thing that could have made it better was for Pujols to break Barry Bonds's single season home-run record, but that's okay...

No what's sad is that detroit was supposed to be good. St. Louis outplayed them, outstrategized them, and capitalized on their mistakes (which were numerous). Face it. St. Louis did a good job in the WS. Besides if they weren't a good team they wouldn't have been their in the first place. This is reality. They outplayed the Mets, and they outplayed the Tigers.

Ya gotta give props to the Cards!!!

They played well and the tigers mailed it in....


Congrats to the WS Champs!!!!


I still think the Tigers did somethign amazing this season considering where they came from just two seasons ago (much less the last 20 years).

An amazing feat even if they did choke on a hair ball in the end!
