The minimap would be instead of the legend box, so yes, you'd have room. I think a minimap would probably look better.

I still think the ocean and both kind of impassables need work.

You overcorrected the rotation on the N and S in the legend. E is properly rotated, but needs to be moved a pixel or two down to bring it in line with the compass point.

yes about the E
the S seems a bit wonkey - but the N - well i have bad eye sight so i dont know what to do with that - wanna tell me which way it need turning?
ZeakCytho wrote:I still think the ocean and both kind of impassables need work.

yup - the mountains more than the trees though
how would you do the mountains?

ok ill try it, but i still need the vont names - where would they go?
and the mini-map in a box or floating? (if in a box - a different box to the one i have now)

I like 5C the best, but the ocean definitely needs more blending.

for the mountains (those are mountains, right?), could you make them more rough like real mountains. right now its just a constant line and its not really working for me...

I like the newest army circles you used. You should keep them.

Actually, I'm starting to wonder if you need army circles at all. Could you throw up some 88s quickly? I think the colors are plain enough that you could get away without them.

Also, you're missing a circle on Itasy ;)

I really don't know how to do mountains because I've never tried to make them.
Since your trees are kinda cartoon-y, maybe you could do the same for the mountains, kinda like the mountains used on the Germany map.
Or go for more traditional mountains like those on the Great Lakes map.

Cartoon ones look to be a bunch of copy-paste.
If you are good with drawing things by hand in photoshop, you might want to try the realistic ones on Great Lakes. Because they look pretty good.

Just put something instead of the solid brown lines.

I don't know the font used for it, so I kinda went the long way around to get 8s for Oasis.

I browsed around my games until I found one that had an 8 in it. then I took that image (screenshot) and erased everything else around it. then I copy/paste the 8 on the board where it belongs.

When in doubt you could drop by Foundry Discussion and download the Army Circle png that mibi posted. I took that and turned it into a layered PSD to show the armies on The Citadel. Very easy to do the Click, Drag, Ctrl+J (duplicate layer) deal.

your bonus's are off....they are too many or not enough for the number of borders to defend....so id go by that
also your 88 are not the correct size
and i also think that this map is too small...
and the rgaphical line for mountains could be a lil better to actually represent mountians...
the trees look cool :D

u need to put up a poll for which version of ur map u should go with. u cant pick one based off of one person. ;)

u could try taking a look at the mountains on the WWII western front map or france map. both are different styles that could give u a good idea for mountains.

dont know how ur going to fix those forests, but they still need work.

bonuses are a little off as lovo said. this i what i think they could be:

Antsiranana - 2 terts + 2 attacking points = 2.

Mahajanga - 4 terts + 3 attacking points = 3

Toamasina - 3 terts + 3 attacking points = 3

Antananarivo - 4 terts + 3 attacking points = 3

Fianarantsoa - 5 terts + 4 attacking points = 4

Toliara - 4 terts + 4 attacking points = 4

and congratz on the adv idea.
