if you want to make it graphically better, why dont you put some shading in?
i think its a bit dark - but if you read a lot of my posts, theyll tell ya that i say that on everything

i think the numbers bit is sorted, and its probably just me that finds it hard to tell which terit is which, otherwise i love your map =D>

Maybe if you make the army indentations slightly lighter than the rest of the map it would be easier to tell?

I really hope this map isn't changed. I don't think this looks any better than the old one and I don't like the idea of changing the borders around in this or any other map. If you wanted to make a new map thats one thing but why do we have to change things around on already established maps?

The only criticism I had is that on some of the numbers on Lake Mistello were to close to kingdom territories with the same number. I have and have seen alot of people misdeploy on Lake Mistello 6 instead of Barbarians 6 or attack Mistello 2 instead of Rebel territory 2. Other than changing these minor things I think that altering this map for no reason other than because you are bored is a big mistake.

I changed it becasue I wasnt happy with my own art. If others arn't happy with that thats not my problem. What the point of having this map up if im not 100% proud of it myself?

im not too sure if this was mentioned - its not a big deal anyway:

the army indents arent really that visible, so if yo cant see them wats the point of them being there (i think my eyesight is a bit shit though so your call),
the villages just look like mushrooms with a lil smoke coming off them, can you make them look more like a village?
the villages could each look different from eachother?

those are my only suggestions, again its all your call, it looks ok now anyway :P

I hate the green colour, you're ruining the map
And the advantage of RoM and RT needs to be addressed

in other words - if youre going to say something contrustive/ask a question (that is valid) then go ahead and say it, but dont go and make it red and big, your post will be addressed like any other,

Gimil when this revamp resumes please can you consider the following ...

Please see the Feudal War map image in this post in the infected neutrals thread. It can be seen that the Imperial Dynasty and Rebel Territory are at a minor disadvantage, from an infected neutral gameplay perspective, because they have no territory which can be taken from the starting position that doesn't open the player up to neutral territory with 10 on it. All the others have at least two.

Imperial Dynasty - 0 territories can be taken before opening a border with a territory with 10 neutral armies at game initialisation.
Rebel Territory - 0
Barbarians - 3
Feudal Empire - 3
The Great Kingdom - 2
Realm of Might - 3

This has an effect on the number of cards a player can safely collect before taking on large infected neutrals. I'm not suggesting that your map, or any others, should be rethought just to accommodate infected neutral play, but I thought I'd flag it up for you to consider.

For those interested the current and final proposal is here not the version linked to from that post.

ooh it really would be bad playing with infected neutrals on - but i would like to see what its like lol
it would pose a problem, is there any way of programming it to something like:
Is Infected Neutrals | On?
If Yes > lower the neutral armies start
If No > Continue as normal
or just make the map unavailibe on infected neutrals if it poses as a big big problem???

As much as ive appreciated the hard work put into infective neutrals I have no intention to redesign the map for its introduction, sorry.

Mainly because of the high number of neutrals wont make this setting effective on the map anyway.

Its not really a little harsh. I put lots of work into MY art and then people complain when I want to change it. All the artist in the foundry are under appreciated. We work hard to bring high quality maps and never get as much as a well done from the outside community. Yet when there somethnig they dont like they flood in moaning and bitching.

You tell me whats harsh ;)

ok agreed i suppose the moaning tone of kemmler would get to you alright love what you've done with the map by the way will have to play it to see how old stratigies do though on new gameplay, the changes were small so i don't anticipate too much change in stratgey
