Mafia Tournament With RISK![WINNER: rbelgrod & blakebowling]

OOH! Aah! Mafia is a simple game, has simple setting, has simple rules, but risk and mafia combined WTF!

There will be 2 mafias - both 3 players large
8 town members
1 jester (has to eliminate self (deadbeating not allowed))(town and mafia lose if he wins)
and a lyncher (has to get a set player eliminated)

The 10 town have to kill the mafia, but with a twist: They play in small games first to choose whose up for elimination:

e.g. round 1, 4 games, the first person out (terminator style) in each game goes up for a lynch- these players then have to play a game of risk among themselves one gets lynched (person quickest out)
Night 1, Mafias pick a player to kill, player dies (2 overall)
Round 2, now there's 13 so it may be 3 games of 3 and 1 four, or anything else but you decide by a vote
Etc.

No lynch is not an option, so do you lynch the person you think is scummy, or the person who you think can kill the scummiest

Enjoy the games (I am sorry that half of this is skill, half is just picking the right person but if you want to keep your ratings don't join)

Eww, Nate, I must agree with you I've had my mind on running Mafia tourney but I never figured out a good way (plus I'm kinda n00b in mafia so I don't know much about the game) to run.

ok then, may i make 2 quick little suggestions
1) be sure to put our names close to the top if this thread as co-hosts (otherwise having the names to help gain support is kind of meaningless )
2) use the second post for your player sign ups and statistics, lay it all out so that players can more easily... visualize i suppose... the way this will work
