It's been awhile since I've notice any good conspiracy theories in this forum so I thought I'd throw the latest one out that I've hear of. Here goes -
Alicia Keyes was interviewed by Blender Magazine and told them, "Gangsta rap' was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. 'Gangsta rap' didn't exist." Then later in the interview she said, "The bicoastal feud between slain rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. was fueled 'by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing'".
It's too bad that xtratabasco isn't here anymore but I'm sure there's a couple of the old conspiracy people alive and well here. Does anyone think there's any truth to this?
The next great conspiracy theory!

You visit digg.com, don't you? Yeah, I find that believable but ridiculous at the same time. How would the gov't intervene in this way?

Re: The next great conspiracy theory!
I'd say it has a grain of truth in it, but it's mostly BS.
The media did fuel that rivalry, but the government didn't. And not to "prevent another great black leader." Nigga please.
Oh and nigga plz to the gangsta rap not existing too.

Perhaps the media but not the government. If they were involved which department would be spearheading such an operation?

I actually heard it on the radio so I went to the internet to check it out and the first hit I got was from the Huffington Post.

have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head?
or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends?
you only think you did
i could have sworn i saw it too
but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.
