overall i like it. but the dots are definitely too opaque, and why those planes coming out of the Ukraine?! they annoy me.

First of all, it's not like people said, "lets make this map worse for everyone." Getting classic to work for everyone should be a priority over other maps because it's the most popular map. FYI, there have been frequent complaints about readability before so that's why they were trying to improve it.

Now, as we can see, there are tons of people making their first posts complaining about the change. So while it works for a good amount of people, there are more that do not like the change.

The ability to choose the old versus the new map seems like a good idea to me.

Oh, man, those dots are terrible. The rest of it is fine, but the dots are killing me.

I agree here. All parts of the touchup is great, except for the new army shadows!
I don't need a 500px image in my signature because I don't have anything to compensate for.

thanks for all the changes. but I have to say the white circles make it very hard to read and tell where your armies are. I like the other changes though.

Please remove the army shadowing effect or make it optional.

this is a horrible change the so called artist that did this should know about readabilty issues and how this just crowds it and makes it worse...alls that need to be done was lighten the opacity of the map by maybe 10 %

Thanks for the efforts, but please consider making softer the circles. It's not resistant to change, it's that the shadow circles should be that... shadows... not lights.
